Tsungirirai Marufu - Maune

Tsungirirai holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) Degree from the University of South Africa (2014) and a Certificate in International Trade Policy and Trade Law from TRAPCA, Tanzania (2017).
She has been extensively involved in the litigation department and has successfully handled many complex and high value transactions on behalf of a wide range of clients. Her expertise lies in Corporate and Commercial Law, Trade and Investment as well as Contract Law. She is also a researcher for the World Bank’s Doing Business Research Project.
Prior to joining the firm, Tsungirirai worked for a Non-Governmental Organization that advocates for children’s rights where she gained considerable experience in human rights and family law practice.
Tsungirirai is currently pursuing a Master of Laws Degree with a foreign University.

Ms Mahachi work experience spans almost two decades that saw her working for the Central Bank and various law firms (that includes Gutu & Chikowero from 1999 to 2001) in various capacities.
Immediately before re-joining the Firm, Ms Mahachi was the Group Company Secretary and Legal Advisor for Green Fuel (Private) Limited, from 2012 to February 2018 responsible for Corporate Services as well as handling the company’s labour portfolio since 2012 with full responsibility for all labour issues from disciplinary procedures to drafting and attending court and tribunals on behalf of the Company.
She made an indelible mark in the renewable Energy Sector that saw her being nominated the Country’s representative at the 23rd World Energy Congress Executive Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey in October 2016 by the Zimbabwe Energy Council.
In January 2016, she was elected, and is the current Vice Chairperson of the Renewable Energy Association of Zimbabwe.
She has also chaired the Ministry of Energy’s Consultative Forums on Renewable Energy as follows:
IRENA Renewable Readiness Assessment Biofuels Sub-Committee 2015;
SE4ALL Transport Sub Committee 2016
She sat on the Green Fuel Board ex officio, as the Board Secretary and was also a member of the Zimbabwe Bio Energy (Private Limited, Board from 2014 to 2017.

He is a registered Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public, who joined the Firm in November 2017. Previously he worked as a Legal Officer in the Real Estate and Travel and Hospitatlity sectors. He graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2014, and is currently pursuing a Masters in International Economic Law with Unisa, with a keen interest in International Commercial Arbitration
